BF2 Retail server seems b0rked update

Arrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

*UPDATE*: no it's not fixed .. but play on our win32 server then *sighs*:

I'm sure some of you know what I mean. You want to play the multiplayer of Battlefield 2 and after each map .. you're being disconnected. You think it must be punkbuster again, or just a bug .. or whatever .. but the admins see what happens on the server .. actually everyone is kicked from the server after a map change (on linux servers).

So I started going around forums and see that there is lotsa people having lots of problems:

Meanwhile there are rumours that the official linux retail server download has been taken offline and that we are expected to see a patch ... soon .. maybe sometime soon. So we're not setting up any windoze servers, nah, go play somewhere else or bash EA.

*waiting for patch and NOT buying BF2 for sure*

Pfff, I've run many games on windows that are just as stable as on the linux distros... Now, take BF2 as an example of stability, the linux version kicks all clients out on mapchange, rofl!

I didn't say linux was a bad os either, just that the linux server of BF2 sucks, so... - on the other hand, you guys are complaining about windows, which is in fact not insecure, nor unstable either.

BF2 =WASTE of Money the game is good but the on line action = forget it
32 and 64 player servers take bunch of power and they ain't got it. If you like lag, hangs, and a lak of severs this is the game for you. Or if you like slamming your finger in a car door you'll love this game
