Armor galore with Armored Fury

You can imagine our surprise when we heard from the legendary Battlefield 2 again. Our surprise only grew when we found out the action classic would soon receive a new patch. This surprise isn't completely unfounded, especially considering this patch should've been released a long time ago.

No reason for sorrow though. The long wait will be rewarded. In this patch verious tweaks and maps will be added to lift the game to version 1.5. The nice extra then is that everyone will be getting the - previously non-free - expansion packs Armored Fury and Euro Forces. These additions bring the total new map count in this patch to eight, and ensure a file size just over 2GB.

The patch will go live Tuesday 1st September at 5pm UK time. A full feature list can be found over at the Battlefield Blog.
