Description
Slated for a winter 2009 release Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will pick up where its predecessor left off. Players will once again return to 'B Company' and wreak havoc on the virtual playing field using all sorts of weapons and vehicles.

Bad Company 2 goes Limited and gets new trailer
It should no longer surprise us, another Limited Edition is headed our way. This time the game comes from the stables over at Electronic Arts.
What does surprise us though is that DICE chose to make the Limited Edition effectively limited. Contrary to other special editions you can only buy this edition of the game by being one of the first people to buy the title. The best thing about it all then is that the Limited Edition will be sold for exactly the same price as the standard retail version of the game.
Considering the normal price you shouldn't be expecting the Limited Edition to come shipped with night vision goggles or the likes. The bonus is fairly simple then in that it offers six unlocks for the game.
In any event it is refreshing to get something extra without having to pay for it. Of course the edition is only available as long as the supply lasts. So, if you want to enjoy the six unlocks of this Limited Edition you better be the first in line in front of the store when the game launches March the 2nd 2010 (US) or March 5th 2010 (Europe).

- Improved Vehicle Armor – An up-armor package is mounted on all vehicle types, decreasing the effect of both explosive and penetrating warheads, significantly improving vehicle survivability.
- Supreme Vehicle Firepower – Additional weapon packages are mounted for the driver of all armored vehicles, greatly expanding the range of targets the vehicle can successfully engage and destroy.
- Vehicle Motion Sensor – Use this electronics warfare package to locate enemy units in direct proximity to the vehicle.
- Tracer Dart Pistol – This magnetic dart attaches to any vehicle surface, allowing squad members to track, lock on, and fire rockets onto moving targets even beyond line of sight.
- M1A1 Submachine Gun – Reliable but heavy this classic weapon is a powerful force in the hands of any Battlefield veteran.
- M1911 Pistol – Highly customized M1911 are favored for its dependability and the power of its large .45 caliber round.
