Battlefield 2 release delayed

Swedish development house DICE has pushed the release date for their upcoming shooter Battlefield 2, for almost two months. That is bad news for a lot of you, but don't despair as there is also good news, Electronic Arts who is going to publish this game, released the boxshot - you can have a look over here. Let's hope that Santa brings us a demo for this very nice action game. In connection with their co-operation with EA about hosting a lan in Denmark before the release, BFGeeks.dk for about a month ago announced a release date on Battlefield 2 called 8 February 2005. Meanwhile DICE has moved the release about a month or so and therefore Battlefield 2 is now scheduled for release 24 March 2005. As always you need to take these release dates with precautions as it is only DICE & EA who can decide on whenever they feel the time is right to make the eager Battlefield gamers' biggest Christmas wish come true ;)
