Battlefield modders ... ten hut !
EA's Battlefield 1942 keeps on becoming more and more popular. Why, I think that it's the most played online game amongst our Fragland staff. A couple of them have created a separte site for Belgian & Dutch players: Sector Battlefield.
Excellent gameplay, loads of possibilities, fun community, next-to-no cheaters etc... And much like the well-known Halflife, Battlefield also has lots of mods. An oversight of the most popular can be found HERE.
And now, EA has called upon all modders to create official mods:
The Mod Development Toolkit v.9a is ready for open beta testing. The MDT introduces tools and guides for both the beginning and advanced Battlefield 1942 modder. The MDT is designed to help you make a mod that works with Battlefield 1942. If you are interested in contributing to the development of the MDT please download v.9a and post your comments and suggestions on the open beta forum.
