Thought it might be interesting to post some random thoughts whenever I've got time or think about it and today is as good as any day to start it so here goes.

Requested a reviewcopy of Painkiller yesterday and got confirmation that it's in the mail so I'm pretty much looking forward to that one as I wonder what it's like to play a killing angel :)
Haven't read any of the reviews on it yet as I always want to have a blank mind and no prejudice when starting a game. Guess I'll know soon enough.

I'm still playing Call of Duty on an almost daily basis. This game is the first since Quake 3 that makes me come back for more. If you ever encounter a player on a game server that calls himself =FL=Speed.be, you can be pretty sure it's me ;)
Btw, I'm not the only one from Fragland who's hooked on this game, both DoubleD and peng (under the nick saflet][peng) tend to play it aswell.

Our SOCOM 2 contest seems to be going pretty well. Reactions have been overly positive. We'll have some more nice compo's coming up soon, several have been arranged already and we're just waiting for the right time to launch them :)

I received my confirmation for E3 so that means I'm registered as official press, just like the rest of the guys that are going for Fragland. Really looking forward to the beginning of May as it will be the first time I'll attend the show. Games I really would like to see include of Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 but also Quake 4 if it's present.
We'll make sure to have lots of coverage posted here. Our goal this year is to try and get as much as possible exclusive content and news about new titles.

I'm really impressed with the performance of nVidia's GeForce 6800 Ultra. Seems like nVidia may take back the crown for having the fastest baby out there but we'll have to wait for ATI's response in a couple of weeks with the launch of their new R420 to see who really 0wns. Still, it's nice to see a company make such a leap in performance and it feels much the same as when AMD launched their Athlon64 which was just a slap in the face of Intel. Of course, there AMD was the smaller one beating the giant while nVidia can hardly be called "small".
It's looking to become a very interesting year on a hardware level.

That's about all I have to say for the moment except for one thing: KILL THE FUCKING SPAMMERS ! I'm really fed up with the +150 spams I receive in my mailbox on a daily basis. When will they realise that people aren't interested in receiving mail about Vicodin, penis enlargments or life insurances ? Don't these people have anything better to do ?
