For example, Castlevania would take more than the earlier limit of 50MB storage. For people without an HDD, and therefore with a small Memory Card of 64MB, that's obviously too big and the expansion of storage is more than welcome.
The new card will be able to store 512MB, a lot more than the current capacity. Of course, more storage means a bigger price. The new Memory Unit would cost about $50 while the older version would settle for about $30.
Another little detail is the fact that the new cards will have a full version of the arcade game Geometry Wars: Evolved pre-installed for free. A nice gift for someone who doesn't have the game already.
