Bill Gates: DVDs won't exist in 10 years

Microsoft topman Bill Gates
Mr. Gates had an interview with the German pulp-tabloid magazine Bild. Now we know that this is not one of the most trustworthy sources around, but hey, it could be true :)
In the interview, Bill was asked what he thinks the future of the everyday living room will look like. It turns out that Bill does not see a bright future for CD nor DVD as they will become obsolete and redundant. Prices for mass storage devices will be much lower than now and burning data onto a little round silvered piece of plastic will be plain stupid. Especially because they are easily damaged and lost. It will all become TV-on-demand; what we want, whenever we want it.

What about games on DVD then ? Download each and every game onto your HD - how about a crash then ? And replayability ? I know for a fact that most people like to have something material to hold on when spending €55 to €60. Anyone up for investing in a wireless High Definition Television with built in next-generation wireless Xbox console ?

Yes what about that Mr Gates? :)
Personally I would like to keep the DVDs, make the storage of data bigger, and we´ll be happy, say around 20Gb+ per cd or more if possible. I know I wouldn´t complain ;)
