Binary Domain will let you talk with NPC... in real life
Now that's what I call an innovative feature!

Sega producer Toshihiro Nagoshi has told the folks over at Gamespot that one of the distinct features of Binary Domain will be that you'll be able (and will HAVE) to talk to NPC's... over your headphone.
“There are interactive elements utilising the headset where you essentially more or less engage in conversation, like maybe there might be some back story that you can explore with the NPCs, that can essentially be done using the headset,”
“All the players will have a base level of behaviour, patterns of how they act, but depending on how you interact with them – say, you might betray them or they might betray you – they’ll have actual cause and effects in the game’s progression. So based on that based on that you can have some interesting immersion experiences in the game.”
Nagoshi also said they want the AI to be mature enough so NPC's can stand on their own:“All the players will have a base level of behaviour, patterns of how they act, but depending on how you interact with them – say, you might betray them or they might betray you – they’ll have actual cause and effects in the game’s progression. So based on that based on that you can have some interesting immersion experiences in the game.”
“We want to make sure the AI can basically stand on its own that, so that it doesn’t require babying,”
