BioShock 2 slides into first half of 2010
Sad news for the Bioshock 2 fans out there because the game, previously scheduled for November 3rd 2009, is not set to arrive in stores in the first half of 'calendar year' 2010.
Take 2 CEO Ben Feder clarified things during a conference call where he explained that it was delayed to the calendar year 2010 instead of the fiscal year 2010 which begins November 1st 2009.
Later the publisher itself released the following statement regarding the delay of their upcoming PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 first person shooter:

Later the publisher itself released the following statement regarding the delay of their upcoming PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 first person shooter:
"[BioShock 2's delay is] not related to any specific platform or any specific element of it,"
"Generally there are some development issues that we need to deal with."
Also take in mind that Take 2 has to juggle around three major releases somewhere near the end of the year with Mafia 2, Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3 so it makes sense to spread their blockbusters to be a bit around during these harsh times where buying 5 games each month may bankrupt you or your parents."Generally there are some development issues that we need to deal with."
