BioShock hits 1.5 million

At this time, Take-Two has shipped 1,5 million copies of their magnificent shooter BioShock to stores. They are currently considering doing a sequel. Peter Moore, now an EA Sports exec as you all know, used this example to prove that third-party games won't be squeezed out of the market by first-party games

"It turns out the comments by the former Xbox 360 and Games for Windows marketing chief were prescient. Today during a post-earnings report conference call with analysts, Take-Two Interactive Chairman Strauss Zelnick said BioShock was already a runaway success for the controversial publisher, which has been set back by the Grand Theft Auto IV and Manhunt 2 delays."

After the controverse surrounding Manhunt 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV's delay, this is finally some good news for Take-Two.

Bioshock is the shit....truly is...besides if you beat it, you can still get good money at gamestop to trade in for Halo 3...so what are you waiting for?
