I don't know a single soul that wasn't creeped out at least a little bit by the original Bioshock and it seems Irrational Games is heading in the right direction to match this effort in Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams.

With the launch of a viral site at www.somethinginthesea.com the promotion campaign was launched and from the looks of it there is more blood boiling suspense on its way.

Captioned "There's Something in the Sea" the site contains a news paper clipping which reveals the year the game will take place in. While the original was set in 1960, this one takes place seven years later. It also describes the kidnapping of a girl by some fast moving, above average height creature which emitted a red light from its head.

To make it complete, there is also a picture of a puppet that resembles the creature and some notes by someone interested by the event. The background map hints at the shores of Ireland as the setting for the game.
