Bioware's Mass Effect playable at the E3

Bioware (KOTOR) shined a bit of light on their new RPG "Mass Effect"; currently in development for the Xbox 360. The most important news is that the game will be playable at the E3.

Due out either this year or next, Mass Effect's an action RPG in which players form bands of intergalactic adventurers and go around smacking aliens in the face (roughly), discovering planets to explore and basically pillage as they roam around the solar systems and galaxies.

There will be an enourmous creative and customizable system for creating your characters and the battles will take place in real-time. More promises include better animations than Jade Empire, realistic facial expressions, more character credibility and strong storyline.

We'll try to get hold of the controller in L.A....
