Bad Karma has an interview with Dynamix' Blake Hutchins online where he talks about what we can expect in their upcoming online shooter Tribes 2[BLOCK]The BioDerm Hordes featured in TRIBES 2 began as a bioengineered slave race that provided labor and military "cannonfodder" for the Empire in the early part of the Third Millenium. They were bred in vats from cloned tissue and their appearance increasingly departed from the human baseline as they were modified to fit particular roles. Control worked via genetic imperatives and a neurally-programmed slave mentality. Eventually, a highly intelligent mutant appeared who was able to break his control and free other Derms as well. Since by that time, BioDerm soldiers filled the majority of Imperial military positions, they were in a unique position to take up arms and revolt against their masters. This mutant took the name Gir Draxon and led a ferocious assault against humanity. He has proven a cunning and resourceful leader.[/BLOCK]
