CGOnline is reporting that in a surprise move, Ener1 Group, a US tech holding company, has bought Blitzkrieg developer Nival Interactive.
Nival Interactive will be integrated into a new US-based company that will be called Nival Inc and the current 140 employees are supposed to be integrated in the company. At least one man has done so already, Nival founder Sergey Orlovskiy has moved to Lauderdale, Florida, to take control of the new studio.
Next to Blitzkrieg 2, also Heroes of Might & Magic 5 - to be published by Ubisoft - is currently under development at Nival and it seems that the future plans for the company will be seeing a small change as next-gen console titles and wireless games will become a target market while Nival previously focused solely on PC
