Blizzard: Retail has mor to offer than digital distibution
Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce has said in a new interview that retail still has more to offer than digital distribution:
Back in October, during Blizzcon, that other boss at Blizzard, Rob Pardo, noted that people are shifting more and more towards digital though.
“Retail has things to offer that we can’t offer digitally – like the collector’s edition, which is always popular with our very passionate fans,” said Pearce.
“We’re also planning midnight launches for the game at retail around the globe with our developers in attendance and signing autographs. You can’t get that experience through the digital purchase.”

Personally I still like boxed copies more than digital games. I like to look at my collection :)In other news:
