Blizzard's highly popular World of Warcraft
installs a piece of software known as The Warden on player's computers, which should stop cheating on official servers, but might be used for other practices as well...

Veteran security expert Bruce Schneier confirmed reports that an anti-cheating tool called "The Warden," used by players of the popular network game World of Warcraft (WoW), collects information about all running processes in Windows, and reports back about those processes to the server of the game's publisher, Blizzard

You do the same thing over and over again, collect gold, kill that creep, do quest etc. Futhermore you pay for it, not a small amount but quite a decent amount. The last comment made above is made by a game addict, and can we say his opinion is correct?
