Blizzard engaged in making games for next-gen consoles
During an interview about World of Warcraft the C.O.O. of Blizzard, Paul Sams, dropped that Warcraft is not the only important franchise of the company :
Next to that he told that Starcraft and Diablo absolutely not have been forgotten at Blizzard, and it wouldn't surprise him if a new franchise was started soon.
The platforms for the games in development are for the moment not yet decided, but PS3 and Xbox360 are on the shortlist.
Hopefully we'll get more info soon !

We have multiple games in development, currently, they are just not announced… To the outside world--and the reality of it is--we are laser focused on what is the thing right then, but there's a ton of additional focus being put toward these other [games] that are in development."
