Blizzard puts teaser image on official site

Blizzard Entertainment will announce a new, hot title on May 19th. Everyone thinks it's StarCraft 2, though some doomsayers say it'll be World of StarCraft.

Anyway, Blizzard knows the whole world is curious to their next non-WoW game so they've put a teaser on their official site. It depicts a timeline of their games with currently WarCraft I and II showing up. We "guess" that in the coming week the other titles get coverage on the timeline as well and that on May 19th the new project will be introduced (in place of the question mark there is now).

Announcement of the year? Something tells me that the folks in South Korea are 100% sure of that. :)

I never said it will be World of Starcraft (although I did pick up some rumours about that). I sure hope for Starcraft 2 and hope they won't make another MMOG

Yea I'm definetly not interested in playing an MMO right now, I only quit WoW like 3 months ago. My friends and I have already decided that if its a Starcraft MMO we just wont buy it. But if its anything else that we think it might be, like Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 (not MMO) or something along those lines I would probably buy it.

Really I think the only way blizzard could screw up this announcement is announce another WoW expansion. I think a majority of their fans (like myself) would be very disappointed. Although alot of are not interested in a Starcraft MMO it would still probably do really well.

Also if you look at their time line you notice that they had a pattern of releasing a new game every 2 years, I guess they slowed down a bit after WoW.

After thinking about it some more, I take that statement back. They were supposed to release starcraft ghost last year, which would have kept them on track, but it seems they've pulled the plug on that.
