Blizzavision restructuring continues: Radical cut in half

Scarface dies with Blizzavision's restructuring

Activision-Blizzard is continuing its reorganisation exercise and yesterday's victim was Radical Entertainment who saw half of its staff (100 people) become redundant.

"Activision Blizzard is committed to making the best games possible and has elected at this time to reduce the number of titles that Radical is developing from four games to two," Leah Rubin, Radical's vice-president of human resources, said in an email. "Therefore, we will be proportionately reducing the size of our studio."

Radical will be offering employees that got the boot some tools and resources to find new jobs.

I guess it's clear we won't be seeing a new Scarface game soon either as a new Crash Bandicoot and Prototype are listed to be under development at Radical at the current time.
