Booze president becomes Activision CEO

Posted on Friday, 17 June 2005 by Speed, source: Fragland.net
Activision has sent out a press release stating that they've appointed a new CEO. Michael Griffith who formerly used to work at Procter&Gamble as President of Global Beverages, has taken up the new role as president and CEO of Activision.

"I am very impressed with everything that Activision has accomplished and yet I see tremendous additional upside opportunity for both sales and margin expansion as the industry grows and evolves," said Griffith. "I'm excited to be part of the company's next stage of growth."

So... the next stage of growth may well be in making games like "The Coca Cola Shooter" or "X-Men vs. Pepsi" ?

LOL, when I read the topic I thought of alcohol, because in some places - booze = alcoholic.
