Breed servers vulnerable to attacks
A security tracker sent out word recently that servers running the game Breed are vulnerable to attacks. Apparantly, it's easy to make the server crash by simply sending an empty UDP packet to it.
We won't be publishing the test-code just to make sure you won't be tempted to use it ;)
The game server can be easily crashed through the sending of an empty UDP packet.
In fact if the packet size is equal to zero, the game passes a NULL pointer to the function used to parse the packet's content.
