Buttload of Starcraft 2 details unveiled

Korean website GameMeca got to check out the latest build of StarCraft II and as a result a ton of info has appeared.
  • No loading times for multiplay
  • Overall speed is about 1,5 times faster than Starcraft 1
  • Graphics won't surpass those of Dawn of War 2 but are extremely polished
  • Incredibly smooth animations of the units
  • Color scheme is brighter than in original game
  • Gameplay is created for being able to have pro gamers matches
  • Very handy interface
  • Selection cap has increased to 24 with more possible by using hotkeys
  • Selections can not only be used for units but also buildings
  • New units, building roles and tech trees have changed a lot but strategy and tactics used remain the same
  • Mining rate has decreased compared to the original game but mining speed is increased
  • Landscape can be used for tactics thanks to units that can jump over high obstacles
