Along with the new weapons and the new tactical shield, Valve will also release a new map, de_airfield, in the new 1.6 version of Counter-Strike, along with visually revamped versions of two older Counter-Strike maps, de_aztec and de_inferno. In addition, Valve will now support a wide-screen view mode (imagine playing Counter-Strike like you were looking at a DVD movie) and support for widescreen monitors. Even if you don't play the game in wide-screen mode, the game kicks into that visual mode when your players dies and you go into ghost mode mode waiting for the next round to begin.
