Call of Duty 4 demo this week
Shooter fans, this is the finest hour! The Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare PC Demo is coming our way this Thursday. Infinity Ward has confirmed the release of this fine piece of software to be available for us to download at approximately 1700 hours. The official site will make a set of mirrors available, but of course you'll have our ultra-fast servers at your disposal as well!
Activision will announce the possible release of a console-demo tomorrow and with it we'll know the date of its release. And, do note, the retail version should be available at your local games-farm on the 9th of November!
It will premiere on Yahoo Games (boo! hiss!), although official site Charlie Oscar Delta should be updated with various download locations as they become available.
Unfortunately there is no word on the 360 or PS3 versions, although Activision expects to have an official statement on their whereabouts tomorrow.

The ideal of course lies in a mix of both, the best example probably being Oblivion. If a game is released in 2007, I want it to have 2007, and not 2004/5 graphics. I don't see why the gameplay should suffer, it's very feasible to focus on both. That's how game of the year competitions are won.
