Capcom profits last year were terrible
SSFIV delay didn't help Capcom's financials
In its latest financials, the company noted that profits dropped a whopping 73% while new sales also went down with 27%.
Eventhough games like Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV did well in the West, and Monster Hunter Tri and PSP game Monster Hunter Freedom Unite sold well in Japan, many delays and several weak titles resulted in the less than expected revenues and profit.
Lost Planet 2 and Super Street Fighter IV were released only this year, while Bionic Commando, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles and Dark Void did all but great.
Hopefully for the company 2010 will look a lot better.
