Cars 2 announced

Cars, the videogame based on the animation movie starring the four-wheeled inhabitants of Radiator Springs is getting a sequel. Not entirely unjust, as it wasn't an abomination like some other licencegames.

THQ is happy with the 7 million sold copies and has therefor announced a sequel that will bring more of the same.

The new game features all new racers coming to Radiator Springs to complete in the First Annual Mater-National Race Festival. You'll see new tracks, new characters, and new mini-games, all while exploring the open city environment.

The game will be made available on all platforms, except Sony's PSP. Maybe that console will get a special version, or no version at all, time will tell.
