Case Modding part 1

Want to know how to alter your case so it becomes one whoop-ass piece of art ?
Then check out part 1 of 3DHardware's workshop on Case modding[BLOCK]The first step in anything is usually a plan. Take out a piece of paper and start dootling (is that a word?), [Editor's note: Doodling], little sketches of how you want your window to look. Note that I didn't actually do this, though I should've. I just positioned my fans where i wanted them and the window idea hit me immeditely. But do as I say, not as I do; trust me, you'll have better results the way I'm telling you :).
OK anyway after you've sketched a few window designs and find the one you like the most, grab your posterboard/cardboard/paper/whatever. Cut it to the same size and shape as the side panel you are going to mod. Measure out where you want everything - measuring is your friend. Anyway, once you have everything measured, measure again and make sure nothing would show that you don't want showing.
Note I actually did this part with a few pieces of paper taped together.
