Championship Manager goes free to play
Good news for Championship Manager fans that might become extremely expensive for them in the long term: Square Enix has announced they're having Beautiful Game Studios and China's Shanda Games working on a free 2 play MMO version of the popular soccer sim.
The game will be called Championship Manager: World of Football and will be accessible from any standard web browser.
Initially the game will only launch in China, but if successful the publisher expects to roll it out in the rest of the world as well.
No release date has been set, but a beta in China is in the planning.
