DailyRadar has posted a news item that states that Wing Commander creator Chris Roberts has been removed from Digital Anvil (the company he himself founded) by Microsoft together with Tony Zurovec.
So is Digital Anvil not going so well after all ? They were allowed by Microsoft to look for another publisher for Conquest : Frontier Wars a little while ago because the Bill-boys didn't really think much of it, and Freelancer (DA's other title) is being created by Chris Roberts who now has gotten the sack...
I tried to contact Microsoft, but haven't got a reply yet. If any news about this comes in, I'll be sure to update.
