Cipher Complex announced for PS3 and X360
Edge of Reality, in the past responsible for the console versions of The Sims, will be going down a more violent path. After all, they announced that they're working on Cipher Complex, a FPS for the PS3 and the Xbox360.
We don't have much details, but in the story, the American government needs the help of John Cipher after the shooting down of an exploration satellite.
They clearly have ambition, if they are able to really do it, we'll see in 2007.

"The evolution of action games has seemed to plateau, perhaps because of the emphasis on sequels," said president of Edge of Reality Binu Philip. "We are exploring and developing brand-new styles of gameplay and methods of storytelling. The concept and mechanics of Cipher Complex have been incubating in our mind for years, and with [the] power of the next-gen consoles, we can finally make our dream project a reality."
