Codemasters publish Overlord in 2007

Codemasters spread some news on this new title. They announced that they will be publishing Triumph Studios' newest game which will go by the name of Overlord.
You might have heard of Triumph Studios since they developed "Age of Wonders", a great turn-based-strategy game.

I know what you're thinking (and I was thinking the same thing the second I heard this name), but this won't be another WW2 shooter. Instead it will be a fantasy-adventure game. In this game you'll be able to control a bunch of magical creatures and let them fight for you.

Overlord offers a wealth of freedom and allows players to experience classic fantasy like never before. Working with the minions, players can loot and pillage their way through the game’s world or maybe resist the temptations of evil. In Overlord, player choices truly shape the world.

This game will be released on PC and Xbox 360 somewhere next year.

ok... lol anyway this is my kinda game, hope we get to pickup and wear different armor sets and weapons etc.

Nope, never heard of it, I don't keep up with WW/Army based games, can't stand em.

EDIT: Actually scratch that, some are ok but just not that interesting to me.

Yep, I also instinctively thought it has got to be another WW2 shooter because of the name. Fortunately this is not the case, and the game actually sounds pretty interesting.
