Codemasters reels in Middle-Earth Online

Codemasters is broadening its focus to the mmorpg market. This shows from recent publishing agreements. Not only has is acquired publishing rights for RF Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online, the company also managed to reel in another big title by Turbine Inc..

Codemasters recently agreed to releasing The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadow of Angmar onto the European market. Shadow of Angmar was announced in 2003 as Middle-Earth Online.

The UK-based publisher is also handling European support for Turbine's Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach. Shadows of Angmar was originally announced as Middle-earth Online in 2003, and was at the time set to be published by VU Games.

Those of you that are bored with World of Warcraft and Everquest 2 might consider giving this MMO game based on the Lord of the Rings-franchise a try.
