Codemasters working on next-gen flight sim

Posted on Thursday, 5 October 2006 by Speed, source: Next-Gen
Next-Gen has word that Codemasters are working on Heatseeker, an upcoming combat flight simulator that will appear on Nintendo's Wii and Sony's PS2 and PSP

Heatseeker will host modern and near-future jets, including the F-22 Raptor, F-15 Eagle, F-35 Lightning II and the experimental, forward-swept-winged SU-47 Berkut from Russia.

The game is being developed by IR Gurus who we all know from "Heroes of the Pacific" and it will utilize a modified version of 2005’s engine of that game.

Release is set for Q1 2007.

If it doesn't involve landing in IFR with a 15knott crosswind on a carrier, with out any automated bullshit "Auto Landing" feature it's not a god dam Flight Simulator!
