Comeback for NFL Blitz?
Electronic Arts recently brought NBA Jam back to life, and it looks as if they've got more plans regarding reanimation.
Anonymous sources are reporting that EA has bought the rights for several sports games that used to belong to Midway, including those for NFL Blitz.
However, whether there will truly be a successor to NFL Blitz Pro (which dates from '99) and when remains a big question. EA Sports apparently is only at a very early stage of development and checking out different console versions at the same time which makes that a potential release wouldn't be before 2012.
EA hasn't confirmed nor denied the rumour yet.
