Commandos: Strike Force announced + first screens

Everyone remembers Commandos 1,2 & 3. These tactical RTS-games immediately gathered a large amount of fans and sold millions of copies.

Today Eidos and developer Pyro Studios announced a follow-up. No more addicting, difficult trial & error, but straight shooting all the way. Whether Commandos: Strike Force will be success or not, a new Commandos game surely got our attention!

Here's an extract from the official press-release.

Eidos, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, announces the return of the legendary Commandos in the World War II first person shooter Commandos Strike ForceTM. Developed by Pyro Studios, Commandos Strike Force will be released worldwide in spring 2005 on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC.

I hope the game will at least not be a no-brainer shoot 'm up like Call of Duty for example (no offense). I hope that tactical thinking will still be imperative to claim victory. (What an ass-backwards sentence :D)
