Company of Heroes reaches goldstatus

Relicnews reports that Company of Heroes has gone gold. CoH is a WWII rts that goes for the fast-paced, microheavy approach instead of a realistic playstyle we've seen in nearly every WWII strategy game out there.

Relic used an advanced Dawn of War engine for this game and apparently it shows, if you read the overall positive reports from the open multiplayer beta (still hosted at Fileplanet for now).

Company of Heroes is slated for a release in Europe on September 29th, yanks get their hands on it sooner (September 11th).
