The newly announced WWII rts Company of Heroes has received its own teaser website. A couple of beautiful screenshots were put online too, you can watch them here locally.

Company of Heroes is made by Relic (Homeworld, WH40k: Dawn of War) and published by THQ. This real-time strategy game features Havok physics and an advanced AI. Read more below:

Company of Heroes is built on Relic's next-generation Essence Engine and also utilizes the Havok Physics engine, delivering cinematic visual detail in a world completely driven by realistic physics. Gamers will experience the journey of the brave men of Able Company in a deep single-player campaign that begins with the invasion of Normandy through their fight across Europe, all set against the most dynamic battlefield ever seen in a game. Company of Heroes' completely destructable environment means no two battles ever play out in the same way. Advanced squad AI delivers startling new realism and responsiveness, bringing soldiers to life as they interact with the environment and execute advanced squad tactics to eliminate the opposition forces.

Sounds a lot like Soldiers: Heroes of WWII from Codemasters if you ask me. Company of Heroes has a 2006 release.

Soldiers: Heroes of WWII was a more traditional RTS (camera angles and stuff like that) with new things like the fact that you could control your men directly like in an FPS (without the viewpoint).

Company of Heroes looks more like a very cinematic kind of game because of the very nice graphics.

Well, the description they give about the physics and 'no two battles are the same' made think a lot about Soldiers. The graphics and explosions too actually. How the gameplay itself will play out... who knows?

No one can tell about the gameplay I guess, but Relic are known for being very innovative with this (see Homeworld 2, Warhammer 40k, etc).
