Ubisoft today announced it has signed an exclusive agreement with Vijay Singh. Ubisoft will develop a videogame series based on the worlds no. 1 golfer, using technology, tools and source code from Microsoft Game Studios.

As Microsoft move away from the sports market, Ubisoft have additionally acquired the technology, tools and source code behind many of Microsoft Game Studios sports games, including NHL Rivals, NFL Fever, NBA Inside Drive and MLB Inside Pitch. Seems like Ubisoft will make a serious attempt at pushing the mighty EA Sports from its sports throne !
