Confirmed: Brotherhood PC doesn't require permanent internet

We thought this was common knowledge already, but apparently it wasn't.

Ubisoft Entertainment today confirmed that the PC version of Assassin´s Creed: Brotherhood will not need a permanent internet connection in order to be playable in offline.

“The PC version of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, after an initial login, will be playable offline in single player mode,”

No shuttering gameplay because the connection to the master server fails. Great!
