Contra 4 confirmed for DS
Good news for DS owners, Contra 4 has been confirmed. The game will continue where Contra 3 (Snes) - better known as Super Probotector - ended and will be a classic action side-scrolling shooter.
Developer WayForward Technologies want to make full advantage of the DS possibilities and will add some new elements, like a grappling hook. Besides a normal multiplayer mode, Contra 4 will also have a Wi-Fi co-op mode.
The game is expected at the end of 2007 in the US. If you don't have the patience, you can always download Super Probotector on Nintendo's Virtual Console.
