Bad news for Brazilian fans of Counterstrike and Everquest. A judge decided to ban both games from the country, because they cause damage to the health of the players.

Judge Carlos Alberto Simoes decided this already in October 2007, but his decision only now comes into effect. Simoes judged that both games encourage "the subversion of public order" and can be seen as "an attack against the democratic state and the law and against public security".

With Counterstrike the problem is apparently the teaching of war tactics and with Everquest the 'bad' quests are not accepted.
