Croteam Interview

Posted on Friday, 1 December 2000 by CoBraLorD, source: Fragland
I remember the beginning where almost no website had ever heard of Croteam or Serious Sam, except Old Man Murray and yours truly Fragland, but these days everyone seems to be crawling over the Croatian developer.
3DPalette spoke with Petar Ivancek and Dinko Pavicic about the Serious Engine[BLOCK]Petar Ivancek : Serious Engine uses 32bit textures with up to 2048x2048 pixels. But we've used primarly 512x512 as the max map size. Of course, you can use multiple textures on a single object. So, every Quake III skinner won't have any trouble skinning for Serious Sam (I personally checked up on Admir while he was unwrapping the model, so you won't have any texture distorsions and some other problems *on the existing models ofcourse*.[/BLOCK]
