Cyan Worlds revived, staff back at work
Posted on Friday, 30 September 2005 by Ryuken, source: Totalvideogames
So, when we reported on the faillure of Cyan Worlds (Myst-series) it didn't seem like the company would survive. But they did apparently as it has now been revealed. Nearly all of the staff which were fired then are now back in business.
A happy end after all then, it's still not known what project they will be working on next, although it most definitely won't be a Myst-game again.

MercuryNews is reporting that Cyan Worlds have had an 11th hour acquit, claiming an e-mail from founder Rand Miller states:
"We've had a reprieve. Managed to pull a rabbit out of the hat (that I can't give details about yet), so we rehired almost everybody. Crazy industry. It's giving me whiplash!"
