It seems that if you're looking to buy a brand new Nintendo DSi/XL, you may want to wait a little longer.
1Up is reporting that in the US, Nintendo is dropping the price of the DSi and DSi XL with about $20 as of September 12th:

In just under two weeks you'll be able to snag a DSi for $149.99 (instead of $169.99). Its beefier cousin, the DSi XL, will also be dropping from $189.99 to $169.99. Oddly enough, the DS Lite's MSRP is to remain unchanged at $129.99.
No word on whether a similar price drop will happen in Europe. With the 3DS around the corner, a price drop might give the current generation that little edge it needs to continue selling.In other news:
