DVD Review: Children of Men

We've checked out Children of Men on dvd and it seems I'm going against the general opinion here. While everyone is full of praise I tend not to agree entirely.

... Ok, the atmosphere is perfectly created but that doesn't hide the fact that there's plenty of stuff that might make you wonder about how things could ever have gotten so far (nobody heard of in-vitro? ...

in vitro fertilisation does require both sperm and egg cells, so if one of them (or both) is unusable anymore, that doesn't work.
cloning isn't an option either, cause of the unstopable aging of DNA.

In fact, I liked the movie not desperately trying to explain everything. It fits the realistic view of the future, seen from the eyes of one ordinary man, perfectly.

I don't think you're really told who he is. All you know is he works in some office, but it is unclear as to what sort of job he has specifically.

Oh and just watched this movie and found it fantastic! :)
