Dan Akroyd to starr in Ghostbusters game
Posted on Saturday, 3 February 2007 by Speed, source: Edmonton Sun
The Edmonton Sun spoke with Ghostbusters actor Dan Akroyd who confirmed that he'll be starring in the upcoming Ghostbusters game
This brings up a couple of questions. The Youtube movies from the upcoming game were removed due to a request from Sony but why would they do that if Universal has bought the rights? Secondly, the game has been halted apparently due to license problems, but how can there be license problems if Universal has bought them from Sony and has contacted Dan Akroyd already to starr in it? And last up: who will be publishing the game? Vivendi who still have a large stake in Universal?
Well, answers to all these questions will probably be given in the coming year as it looks like the Ghostbusters game won't arrive before 2008
"Universal purchased the rights from Sony for a game. I'm actually going to have to perform and do some motion capture for them. That will be next year."
