EA doesn't even try to get Dante in UAE
Gameslatest is reporting that after Darksiders and God of War, now Visceral Games' Dante's Inferno will not go on sale there:
It’s officially official, Dante’s Inferno is not being released in the Middle East. In a move that surprised absolutely no one, EA states that, “Electronic Arts has decided not to release Dante’s Inferno in the Middle East after an evaluation process which is based on consumer tastes, preferences, platform mix and other factors.”
Seeing that God of War was banned in the UAE because it featured the word "God" in the title, one can only imagine how fast a game with close ties to Christian religion would get banned over there.In other news:
