The original US release a year ago didn't seem to be sufficient grounds to issue a demo of Darkened Skye, the third-person action adventure by Boston Animation, but the impending UK release through Oxygen Interactive has now resulted in an official playable demo. Details on its contents are scarce (the included Readme is from the retail edition), but it appears to contain one level from the full game.
