Darwinia soon to be 'Steamed'
As part of the launch and Steam's exclusivity, we will no longer be offering Darwinia as a download option from our site, although it will still be possible to purchase shipped boxed copies. At Valve's request we will also be removing the demo from our site for about a month. Darwinia is set to be released on Steam in mid-December, with the option of pre-ordering a copy with a 10% discount from the beginning of December.
The game might look a little strange at first, but it has an incredibly retro feel to it, no graphics at all, and reminds one of the movie Tron.
The controls are kind'a nerdish with keycombo's (like control-c) and mouse gestures. Once you understand how to play it though, the game offers a very addictive gameplay.
For those of you who want to give the game a try before it's steamed, we've still got the demo online on our servers.
